My silkscreen is a photo I took on the graffiti trip, after many silkscreen attempts, I finally got a result that I was satisfied with. I made the photo multicoloured for no reason other than the fact that I really love colour. In addition, I put the photo in backwards and so the words on the sign turned up the wrong way and you could not read what it said and so I made him hold flowers instead!
For my gel medium I chose a photo I took in Medina, Saudi Arabia. My family, and some family friends took a week long trip there during March break. The photo is taken from the top floor/restaurant of the hotel we were staying at. I took the photo during our last breakfast, and I remember for some reason, being extremely taken aback by how beautiful the city is and how wonderful it was for me to have been able to experience the different culture and way of life in Saudi Arabia.
